Yes it is real good  book and its little sad .It is about the misson and how people were back then .The girl lost her mom and her dad.

It is a good story to read because it gives you the oppurtunity  to feel like yolkit in the actual story.I think it is a very nice  story to pass on to new 3rd graders.but is sad that they all DIE!!!!!! But I think it is good to experience the life of a yolkit.
