Duncan is in a relationship with Annie and they have been together for 15 years. 
Duncan is a big fan of Tucker Crowe.
Duncan moved to the English seaside town to finish his thesis.
He set up a website called "can anybody hear me". 

He have a specialist knowledge of 1970s American independent.

He has a big interest in music, so he's kind of a nerd.

Tucker Crowe is like his life partner so if he dies he will lead the mourning. So out of this we can say that he is lovely as a person but also a freak. Tucker Crowe had always been a part of the package, like a disability.
