Teresea had called the cops on him as soon as it happened. Days later video footage was released of what exactly happened in the corner store & it actually was the boys backpack that brushed her behind. She had been at her local corner store picking up some things, at this time she was “groped” to her belief by a 9 year old boy, she then called the cops and the altercation took place outside. She had told the cops it was sexual assault, which made lots of people mad (people who were in the corner store ).This picture was actually taken the exact day the altercation happened. Jason Littlejhon is the man behind the camera recording the incident. At this time the mother was very angry, her 2 children had been crying because they were very scared they were going to be taken away from their mother. Another local resident also stopped in to say her little piece trying to figure out why Teresa was doing what she was doing, she thought it was absolutely crazy.

Personally I felt so bad for him because being accused of something so big that you know you did not do is the worst. And living in America as a African American male doesn't make it any easier, he probably had a bunch of emotions running through his head. Watching interviews that he had seemd like he's very traumatized and genuinely doesn't accept her apology. The boys backpack had just brushed her and she automatically assumed that he physically touched her. I personally think a grown adult should never just assume a child did something, this situation was handled very poorly especially because she had said it had nothing to do with race. Personally for what she put that young boy through the apology should have been way longer, and there should have also been an apology to his mother. Teresa's apology didn't seem genuine enough to me and to a lot of other people. Especially dealing with children its a lot for them to take in after such a big accusation. On how the incident permanently scared Jeremiah, mother on how she now has to speak to her children and explain what exactly sexual assault is etc she never knew she would have to exlplain something so big at his young age. There has been A LOT of police calls on black females/ males these last couple of months. For example some very known ones would be the woman calling cops on black male that had been babysitting 2 white children, just minding his business, there was " Golf cart Gail" called the cops when a black father was speaking to his child on the soccer field. The Starbucks incident that lots of people heard about an employee calling the cops on 2 young black men, Starbucks ended up giving a real apology, and then had classes for the Starbucks workers " Racial Bias Training". Overall these calls are getting out of hand and its wasting lots of people's time! Overall more of a younger audience is on this everyone seems to be on the same page of how this situation should have went down. The name corner store Caroline became very popular as well memes were also created twitter lives for these types of things.
