I think that this journalist chose to divide this article into sub-sections to separate each topic that each section has.The sub-sections functions are too explain more in those sections. I think that sub-sections would be appropriate in writing a story about how testing has changed in the last 10 years in the state of Florida because it would separate all of the small topics in the article.

This article was divided into sub-sections so that each facet of the story could be considered more independently and to make it easier for a casual reader to skim through. Dividing it this way allows for an almost bulleted-list effect that lends ease to the reading process. One could use this method for nearly any article, using it to divide up time periods or focuses, such as a main problem, change, and effect.

I think the journalist organized the article in subsections because it was easier to see what main points he was going to make. They help readers find information easier. I think sub sections would be appropriate in writing that story because as long as you organize your story correctly it can be organized in that way.

This journalist choose to divide the article in sub-sections so that he could talk about the different events that occured that day. They devide the article into mini sections so a reader may look at different sections. Yes they would as they would allow the writer to talk about how each subject's test had changed over 10 years in the state of Florida.

I believe the journalist chose to divide this article into sub-sections in order to separate excerpts of information. The subsections separate the story and help the reader easily navigate the article. Sub-sections regarding writing about testing changing in Florida the last ten years shouldn't be separated in my opinion. I believe this because if you are just talking about the ten years, I do not see the need to separate the text and its information.

It would be appropriate because the different subject of the article will better explain the topic even if the reader doesn't read the whole article.

The journalist writing this article most likely decided to use sub-sections in an attempt to organize the article better. These sub-sections work as both a summary and navigation through the article as it gives you the main idea of the section in the title. It would be possible to write an article with sub-sections about the change in testing in the last 10 years in Florida. For this article to be well written the sub-sections could divide the article chronologically or by focusing on main changes in testing.

I think this journalist chose to divide this article into sub-sections because he/she wanted to bring out all the facts and make sure that he/she got the opinion of everyone in the article. He/she also wanted to make sure people knew how serious autism is and how important it is for people to be friendly and really care about others. These sub-sections help the reader be more drawn into the story and keeps them interested. Sub-sections would be appropriate in writing a story about how testing has changed in the last 10 years in the state of Florida because you could explain all the details from the testing last year until this year and get peoples opinion on certain parts of it. This would show exactly how big or small the changes really have been

The function it serves is to get all the information to the reader. It is not appropriate because it doesnt need anyone elses point of veiw to get the whole story.

I think that this journalist chose to divide this article because they wanted to break down the article in a sequence kind of way like a day by day sort of thing so you could get the feel of how this story impacted all of the people involved. I feel the purpose of the sub sections was again to break the article down into a day by day sort of thing so that you could get a feel of how everybody's life was impacted. I feel that this would be beneficial to a story about how education has changed over the years because it could talk about what happened in the education system before and how it worked and now and how it may or may or may nor be effective and efficient.
