Favourite part - I have two Favourite parts in the book. 1. Text to Self: I understand Gwendolyn's embarrassment at informing her acquaintance that she was a night flier. As a result, I began to notice changes in my body one day and was embarrassed to notify my parents.

Ending: Gwendolyn Golden emerges from the novel with not just a realistic awareness of the issues she faces, but also a realistic grasp of her own skills and capabilities, as well as increased confidence.

She apparently died at a young age in some sort of accident. That is all that has been told about her so far. Later in the book it is mentioned that Annie died in June. And it seems like Clarie had a really close connection to Annie because of how she is really grieving her loss.

Confusing Part: The next chapter was in the perspective of Annie. This was probably from when she was alive. She goes into her attic and finds a painting that really pulled her towards it because of how familiar it looked. She took the painting to her room and waited for her mother to come back home from work. When she arrived she went to her daughters room and saw her drawing something very familiar to her. She then looked back and saw the painting sitting by her wall. She looked at it and said "I should have got rid of that picture years ago. I don't see why you like it so much. It's just an old, rocky field." I'm confused as to why Annie's mom has something against this painting. And if she does have something against it then why didn't she throw it away like she said she should've?
Interesting Part: A very strange thing happened this chapter. Annie was, again, staring at the painting. Something about it was very attractive. And in a blink of an eye she was inside the painting.
My Thoughts: While reading the next few chapters, I have figured out that all the chapters are in the view of Clarie and Annie. Clarie's point of view is in the present time because Annie has already "passed away". Annie's point of view is in the past, what happened before. So I have a feeling that Annie might have been stuck in the painting all this time and can't find a way out. But everyone else might think she's been dead.

This confused the children. They thought this riddle meant one of them was a Gemini. They panicked and went through everyone's birthday to only find out that Mr. C was Mr. B's twin. The children had to look closer at what Mr. Benidict said. The zodiac sign Gemini is those of two twins.

Nervewracking part (pg, 275-276): While in the testing period, the team is doing the normal; using morse code to cheat.

Everything was going well and as normal until Sticky's hand was grabbed by Jilson. She had found out that he was using morse code by using a pattern of scratching his ear and rubbing his head.

She sent him to the waiting room. I am already past this part in the t.v show so I can give a description of how back the waiting room actually is.

First off, what is the waiting room? The waiting room is where students are put to wait. Hence the name. However, they aren't just waiting for something to happen, they are waiting to see Mr. Curtain.

When you think of a waiting room you think of a doctor's office right? Colourful and welcoming. Right? Wrong. This waiting room is so unbelievably unbearable. The chair is wobbly, the paint on the wall is uneven, the clock never runs at the right time and there is a random fish tank that is the farthest thing from calm. To end all of that off, it seems as if you are waiting for the rest of your night.

Nervewracking part (pg, 355-362): The kids sent out a message to Mr. Benedict about the whisperer to only get back a weird message.

None of them knew what it meant. In all chaos, Kate had spotted a person down on the rocks below the institute. This couldn't have been a recruiter since they are NEVER seen alone. The figure's hair was soaking wet while the clothes were dry. As Kate looked closer she noticed that she recognized the face looking back at her through her looking glass. It was Milligan.
