I went on my first tour September of my senior year and fell in love. I knew this would be a place I could thrive and I already had a couple of girls I knew from home there which was helpful. Cheer  gave me structure that I needed and taught me how to be confident and work with a team. Cheer not only was an outlet for me but also taught me a few life lessons. I was told by the doctors I would be out for the rest of the season this took away all plans I had to practice for the HighPoint team. Out of doubt that I would be back to where I was before my injury and risk to injury it again I decided to forgo trying out.
