At that time, the tourism industry in Malaysia was not considered the main economic source in Malaysia. This is said to be so because in ancient times the production of tin and rubber was more important. Since the tourism industry has been given attention as one of the main economic sources in Malaysia, many beautiful places in Malaysia in each state have been upgraded to tourist attractions. Many places have attracted the attention of foreign tourists and even tourists in Malaysia also come to visit interesting places such as in Sabah. This tourism industry has helped raise the level of the economy in Malaysia. In 2016, our country was visited by 6.48 million tourists. 3.24 million tourists are from Singapore, followed by tourists from Indonesia which is 0.67 million, and 0.38 million tourists are from China.
