Sometimes what you know is not the reality. They tell you that they are in good hands living in joy, but truthfully they are suffering. The dark skinned in South Africa have been always living in oppression and have always been facing hard work labor, while the white skinned are living democratically. The dark skinned children, men, and women in the picture seem to be pushing crates in the sun, while the two white skinned men seem to be standing willingly and delightedly next to their truck. It is very clear that white privilege is present, as the white skinned have trucks while the dark skinned do not.  These pictures tackle a very important global issue being racism, which needs to be informed about to everyone especially the ones who have the ability to do something about it or hold authority. These photographs are a means of communication from the dark skinned and photographers to the people outside of South Africa. It is very inhumane to treat people of different races differently as we are all human.
