I was born in Sacramento, California. I grew up there and lived only there until I was twelve years old. When I was twelve, I moved to Boise, Idaho. I spent my middle school years there and then moved to Vancouver, Washington when I was only fourteen. I spent two years in the Pacific Northwest and then moved to Prosper, Texas. I loved Texas but decided to then come to the University of Arkansas for college.

Why Do I Want to Teach?

When I was in third grade, my teacher made me see everything I learned in a brand new light. She taught me how to think like a lifelong learner, and how to appreciate new knowledge. I realized that I want to have this type of impact on my students one day.

My Favorite Things

I am very passionate about things I enjoy and appreciate. I can be a very particular person and am very strong in the little things I like and dislike. For food, I love In-N-Out Burger (as a true born Californian!), I love pickles, I love mac and cheese and I love smoothies. As for movies and television, I love The Office, Pitch Perfect, Stranger Things, and reality television shows like Love is Blind or Dance Moms. I also have a strong love for travelling! My favorite places I have been are Disneyland and Maui.
