I learned about the role of the facilitator when witnessing clients emerging creativity in week three on creative skills. My feelings towards the lecture were that it showed a great deal of satisfactory images created within the class, the facilitator explained how this is known as the process and is the main component of what art making is about. I am passionate about mental health recovery programmes, which grasped my attention to the article. I enjoyed reading the article as the art facilitators create extra research in the role of art making on mental health recovery. I think this article could have been improved by adding experiences as proof. f I was facilitating a group in the future, especially service users recovering from a mental health issue, I would use the following three step technique; experiment, explore and experience. These three steps were discussed in the video that was played whilst the class were art making. Following these steps allows a service user to follow a procedure, so that they can receive the best outlook of their art making, which will benefit their mental health recovery.
