We started our Usrah session at 2.30 p.m. I

begin the Usrah session by introduce myself to all my usrah members. Then I let them introduce themselves.

I got a lot new new friends.we talk to get know each other and

exchange opinions based on current issues.

2)Adab seeking knowledge.

-After all members have introduced themselves. I ask them about adab.Why we must have good attitude to seek knowledge? their answer is to make the teacher happy while teaching, to get blessing from teacher and others

That true I agree with them. they are so smart and like to give opinions.

3)Al quran as the book of guidance

-After the recitation of Sūrah al-Isrā’ (17:9–21), we learned that the Qur’an is the true guidance that shows the straight path and gives glad tidings to the believers while warning those who reject. I asked them how we should interact with the Qur’an, and their answers were to read it with tajwīd, understand the meaning, reflect on its message, and practice it in our daily life. I agree with them because the Qur’an is not only to be read but also to be lived as guidance for success in this world and the Hereafter.

As the usrah assistant ,I guided our session with the topic of the pillars of Islam.Our usrah today starts at 2 pm.And as usual we start our usrah with the recitation of surah al fatihah.Our topic today is about the pillars of Islam.First, usrah assistant read the Hadith Jibril to us and its translation. After that, the usrah assistant asked all the usrah members about the pillars of Islam. Then, the usrah assistant explained the teachings from the hadith.

Then, one of the usrah members named Aizat shared an example related to obligatory prayers. He likened our fingers to the pillars of Islam and his phone to the religion of Islam. Then he said that when we hold our phone, the strongest grip is with 5 fingers. When we release our little finger from the phone, it will not fall. The same goes for the 4th and 3rd fingers.but if we remove the second finger from our phone, it will fall. That is the analogy with prayer. When we abandon prayer, our religion collapses.

Finally, the usrah assistant shared about ihsan, which is that we feel that we see Allah when we worship and if we are unable to do so, then we need to be sure that Allah sees us. Then, he asked about examples of kindness in everyday life. That's all.

Today our usrah started at 2 pm. As the naqib, I began with the recitation of Surah al-Fatihah. The topic of our usrah was The Pillars of Iman. I asked one of the members to read the Hadith of Jibril, just like in the second week. Then, I read the translation so everyone could understand the meaning. After that, I explained only the first three pillars of Iman.

1) Belief in Allah

The evidence is found in Surah Al-Baqarah (2:163), Surah Al-Hashr (59:22), and Surah Al-Ikhlas. We must believe that Allah is One, worthy of worship, and that nothing is comparable to Him. We can strengthen our faith by performing the five daily prayers and by reading and studying the Qur’an.

2) Belief in the Angels

We believe in the existence of angels who carry out Allah’s commands, such as recording deeds, delivering revelations, and worshipping Allah. The evidence is in Surah Al-Baqarah (2:30) and Surah Al-Infitar (82:10–12). Knowing that angels are always watching us should encourage us to avoid sins and increase our good deeds.

3) Belief in the Books

We believe that Allah revealed divine books to His messengers as guidance for mankind: the Taurat, Zabur, Injil, and the Qur’an. The evidence is in Surah Al-Baqarah (2:1–2, 136) and Surah Ali Imran (3:3). We can practice this belief by:

• Studying and understanding the Qur’an,

• Implementing its teachings in daily life,

• Sharing its lessons with others,

• Seeking guidance from experts when in doubt.

After the explanation, I divided the members into two groups for a short game. Each group was given questions related to current issues, and after two minutes, a representative had to present their views. We played three rounds, with each question linked to what we had learned earlier.

I was very happy to see everyone exchanging ideas, gaining more knowledge, and improving their speaking skills. That is all for today’s usrah.

Assalamualaikum. Today our usrah starts at 2 pm. And as usual we start our usrah with surah al fatihah.Our topic today is about the pillars of Iman again. Last week we discussed the first three pillars of Iman. However, this week we discuss the last 3 pillars of Iman. Without further ado, let's begin.

Belief in the Messengers (Rusul)

• Muslims believe Allah sent messengers to guide mankind with His message.

• From Prophet Adam (A.S.) to Prophet Muhammad (SAW), who is the final messenger.

• Each prophet was chosen to deliver divine guidance suited to their people and time.

• This pillar teaches us to respect and follow their teachings as role models.

Belief in the Day of Judgement (Akhirah)

• Muslims believe that the world will end one day, and all humans will be resurrected.

• Everyone will be judged by Allah for their deeds — rewarded with Paradise (Jannah) or punished in Hell (Jahannam).

• It reminds Muslims to live righteously, be accountable, and prepare for the Hereafter.

Belief in Qada’ and Qadar (Divine Decree)

• Muslims believe everything happens by the will and knowledge of Allah.

• This includes both good and bad events — all are part of Allah’s plan.

• Humans still have free will to choose, but the outcome is known to Allah.

• This pillar builds trust in Allah, patience during hardship, and gratitude in times of ease.

In short

• Messengers = believe all prophets were chosen to guide mankind.

• Day of Judgement = believe in resurrection, accountability, Heaven & Hell.

• Qada’ & Qadar = believe everything happens by Allah’s will and wisdom.

Today our usrah started at 2 pm.

As the naqib,I began with the recitation of Surah al-Fatihah. The topic of our usrah was The judgement day.

The Day of Judgement is a certainty, and only Allah knows when it will happen. Before the final Hour arrives, the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) described both minor and major signs that will appear as reminders to mankind.

Among the minor signs that have already occurred are the coming of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) as the last Messenger, children disobeying their parents, people competing in constructing tall buildings, the spread of corruption, lies and immorality, and the increase of natural disasters. Other minor signs that have yet to happen include the Arabian desert turning green, the Euphrates river uncovering a mountain of gold, and the appearance of Imam Mahdi who will bring justice.

After these, the major signs will follow — ten great events that will shake the entire world. They include the emergence of the false messiah, Al-Dajjal, bringing great trials, followed by the descent of Prophet Isa (Jesus, peace be upon him) who will kill Dajjal and restore justice. Then, the release of Gog and Magog (Ya’juj and Ma’juj) who will spread corruption on earth. After that, a strange creature from the earth known as Dabbatul-Ardh will appear, and a great smoke (Dukhan) will cover the earth. Another sign is when the sun rises from the west, and there will be three major landslides in the east, the west, and the Arabian Peninsula. A massive fire from Yemen will drive people to their place of gathering, and finally, a gentle wind from Yemen will take the souls of all believers. After these events, the Hour will occur suddenly, and all of creation will be resurrected for judgement.

In conclusion, these signs are reminders for mankind to strengthen their faith, return to Allah, and prepare for the Hereafter before it is too late.

I wish to continue seeking knowledge sincerely, to practice the pillars of Islam more perfectly, to strengthen my iman in Allah, His messengers, the holy books, the angels, and qada’ and qadar, to always remember the Day of Judgement as a reminder to do good, to maintain good adab in my life, and to be blessed with sustenance so that I can fulfill the obligation of zakat with gratitude.

MY REFLECTION

Throughout these seven weeks of usrah, I have learned the importance of seeking knowledge sincerely, deepened my understanding of the pillars of Islam, strengthened my faith in Allah, His messengers, the holy books, the angels, and qada’ and qadar, become more aware of the Day of Judgement which motivates me to do good, practiced proper adab in daily life, and understood the obligation of zakat as both gratitude and responsibility.

In Islam, Adab refers to good manners, etiquette, and noble character in all aspects of life. It reflects our relationship with Allah, our parents, teachers, friends, and society. Prophet Ibrahim A.S. is a great example when he advised his father with love and respect, without insulting him, even though his father rejected the truth. This shows that Adab is the key to conveying truth with wisdom and gentleness.

Qur’an verse:

“O my father, do not worship Satan. Indeed, Satan has ever been, to the Most Merciful, disobedient.” (Surah Maryam, 19:44)

This week, I went out with my usrah members to eat Ayam Gepuk. While waiting for our food, we reviewed our lessons from Week 1 to 7. We recalled the Pillars of Islam and Iman, the adab with parents, and the meaning of ihsan. It was a nice and meaningful time to strengthen our bond while refreshing our knowledge. By the time our spicy Ayam Gepuk arrived, we felt grateful for the lessons we had revised together.

After that, the discussion focused on the acquisition of knowledge (ḥikmah), emphasizing that wisdom is gained through sincere worship and righteous actions. A hadith was shared to strengthen the understanding, such as the saying of the Prophet ﷺ:

“Wisdom is the lost property of the believer; wherever he finds it, he has the greatest right to it.” (Jami‘ al-Tirmizi)

The session highlighted the importance of seeking knowledge with the right intention (niyyah) and practicing good deeds (amal) so that knowledge leads to wisdom and positive character development.

I hope that as we are approaching the month of Ramadan, I can improve myself in all aspects of worship, including prayer, fasting, and daily religious practices. I wish to become more consistent, disciplined, and sincere in my ibadah so that Ramadan becomes a period of real self-improvement and spiritual growth.

Reflection:

This session reminded me that worship is not limited to one aspect, but involves understanding, practice, and self-reflection in our daily lives. The discussions on prayer, purification, rukhsah, and other topics helped me realise the importance of proper preparation in worship. As Ramadan is approaching, this reflection encourages me to be more mindful, patient, and responsible in my actions, so that fasting not only restrains me physically but also strengthens my taqwa and character.

This video explains our group artwork/play based on the given topic. The main objective of this artwork is to highlight the hikmah behind the issue and to convey a meaningful message to the audience in a simple and understandable way.

Through the storyline and dialogue, we aim to help viewers reflect on the values taught in Islam, supported by relevant references from the Al-Qur’an and As-Sunnah. The message is delivered creatively using appropriate visuals and expressions so that it can be easily understood and related to real-life situations.

Overall, this artwork is designed to raise awareness, encourage self-reflection, and remind us of the importance of practising Islamic values in our daily lives.

My contribution

My main contribution to this project was writing the script for myself and my group members. I was responsible for arranging the dialogue, structuring the storyline, and ensuring that the message delivered was clear, meaningful, and aligned with the topic given.

In addition, I made sure that the script emphasised the hikmah of the topic and used simple English so that the audience could easily understand the message. My role helped the group to deliver the artwork smoothly
