An activity that helped my knowledge and developed my skills further was making the mini news report video using both a boom pole and tascam. This helped me to understand and master the skill of using both these objects. In this task I also learnt how to edit a video and audio together on premiere pro. This is good as it means when I make more videos I can connect it with a better audio. This means overall the piece would be more efficient and more better quality. Continuing doing this task I've also learnt something new which is how to use a boom pole and tascam. When saying i know how to use these pieces of equipment, I overall mean how to use them both fully. For example how to connect and set these up.

Some new skills that I applied was creating a sound coordinated audio on the tascam. This is good as I can now say I know how to use this object efficiently. I completed this task on the tascam by clicking record and making sure the sound levels are correct. I made sure these were correct by making sure the red light on the device did not keep beeping and if it did, turning the sound down. Some barriers that I came across during this project was that firstly the mic wasn't turned on meaning all the clips we did was wasted as there was no sound. Another barrier that I came across was that when using the tascam, It was not plugged into the right socket. This is bad as it means that the recordings that we also did, did not save. This is bad as it means it made our group have less time to make our video. Which made us a little delayed on the task. Something that I did that i'm proud of is working good as a team. This is good as we all worked together just to make the task work.

Some improvements that I need to work on for future tasks is listening more, i believe this as we made a couple errors as we didn't listen properly when he was demonstrating how to set up the boom tube and tascam. Some skills that I've learnt that I plan to use in next sessions is the use of these devices. I believe this as these pieces of equipment can make my work just that much better. I believe this as it means that my work audios will be more clear and better sound.

I presented my outcomes on premiere pro and then final uploaded onto Showbie.

An activity that helped my knowledge and developed my skills further was understanding the job roles more. I did this by making a word document on what job i would be best suited for and overall what job role i wanted. This helped to develop my knowledge as now I know more about the job roles and what job role suits me best. What I now know that I dint know before was that the producer is probably by far the most important job. This is because they are overall control and make sure the piece is the best of its ability. This is good that I've learnt this as now my knowledge of all the job roles are a lot stronger and i know more about these job roles.

Some new skills that I applied was working as a team to help come up with ideas and making sure our group overall knows what to do and making sure everyone has role in this task. I completed this task by using recordings to establish our ideas. This is good that me and my group did this as it means that we will always have our ideas and that we have proof of us doing our production meetings. During this task there was no barriers as we were just working as a team to complete this. What I've done that im proud of include working all together and making our ideas the best they could possibly be.

Some improvements that I need to work on include making more ideas during this task. I believe this as the ideas given were good but we need more ideas bold and eye catching so that our group stands out. Some new skills that I've learnt is how to co operate all ideas together so that everyone is satisfied at the end of the project. I plan to use this in future sessions as its a fair and efficient way of getting the best possible outcomes.

I presented my work on padlet and then added to showbie.

An activity that helped my knowledge and developed my skills further was doing the interview. This has helped me as now I know what a interview is like. Also its teached me how to use lighting. Doing this has helped me understand how to use lighting which is using the lighting tool to reflect the light to then hit the person to make them look more glowy and attractive. What I now know which I didn't know before is how lighting is actually used and how complex some movie scenes must really be using lighting. Its also made me realise that not all forms of lights are natural and most forms of lighting in films is indeed a fake lighting produced by a LED or electrical powered tool.

A new skill that I applied during this task was using the light reflector and using the item to then bounce off the light and hit the person to make them look more clear and better. I've also learnt which lighting source suits which environment best. A barrier that I came across during this task was trying to hack for the reflector would work and what type of light the reflector would need to reflect the light. Although I overcame this barrier by working as a team and hacking how to use the tool, by keep re positioning and seeing which light type reflects the item best. What I've done that I am proud of is probably completing the word document questions of camera operating. I am most proud of this as I believe I completed it fast and efficiently. Also these questions have made me look more into camera operating and influence me to look more into the whole concept of camera operating and lighting.

Some improvements that I need to work on include adding more detail into my writing. Also after doing the interview for the task, how in a interview I can add more detail into my responses. A new skill that I've learnt that I plan to use in future sessions is adding more detail overall into my work and when doing workshop, just getting straight to the work and completing every deadline.

I presented my work on a video recording and in a word document to answer questions about the task. Which has all been transferred on to showbie as shown below...

The activity that helped my knowledge and developed my skills further was creating the word document of the different audio apps. This helped me as its made me use the apps and personally know which is the best for recording, voice editing and seeing which is just the easiest to use. This is good as i can now use this for future references. What I now know which I didn't know before is that for recording the easiest application would be voice recorder, I would say this as its easy to view and easy to pick up how to use this app. Id also say Speaker studio is also a really good application this is because you can edit how you sound. This is good as it adds a different range which the other applications do not have.

Some new skills that I applied during this task was being able to put advantages and disadvantages into a paragraph. This is good as I've always struggled to do this efficiently with depth detail. I completed this task by using simple sentences and blending them In with connectives. Some barriers that I came across while doing this task was running out of connectives. Although I overcame this obstacle by using more commas to list the advantages and disadvantages. What I have done that I am proud of is completing this task quickly and efficiently. This has meant that I reached the deadline and that I can spend any time spare from this task to improve any previous tasks that weren't finished to the best standard.

Some improvements that I need to work on include making these sentences longer and adding more detail to each of my writing pieces. Some skills that I have learnt and am gonna plan to use for future sessions include adding more connectives when writing. I believe that I should do this as it saves time and means that I can then write better for future sessions and know how to word my work.

I presented my work in a word document.

An activity that helped my knowledge and developed my skills further was analysing the music videos given. This helped my knowledge as its helped me to understand what message videos are trying to give out. Also in terms of understanding what audience each song is for. This is good as now when I watch a music video I can show what it symbolises and which audience its for. What I now know which I didn't know before is the meaning of a music video, and how the people who produce the video make it have a meaning.

A new skill that I applied was learning how to analyse a music video, I completed this task by looking at each screenshot of the video and analysing each shot. When doing this I looked at the images given and looked at the expression or action done in the shot. One barrier that I did have was not completing the work on time and as I wasn't in most of the week this also was a barrier as I was unable to get the work done on time. Something else that I done that im proud of is getting the majority of the work done in the little time that I had to complete this task.

Some improvements that I need to work on is to be in and get the coursework done on time. Another improvement is adding more detail to my work, a reason for this is that I do not have enough detail in this piece of work. Some new skills I've learned that I am going to use for next sessions is adding more detail to my work.

I presented my work on word, a screenshot below shows this...
