    • The first major change was in 1954, where the first oval logo appeared in the LEGO Mursten (LEGO bricks) catalogue, and was affectionately called the ‘sausage logo’.
    • The next major change was in 1960, where the first square logo was introduced and used, along with its variations, for the next 13 years. The 1965-1972 version was the first to include the registered trademark as part of its logo.
    • In 1973, the logo which is most recognised in LEGO was introduced in an attempt to standardise a single worldwide logo. The last major change was in 1998, which is the current logo. It is a slight redesign of the 1973 logo, which LEGO refers to as ‘graphic tightening’, to allow for better digital reproduction.
