When it comes to working on an assignment, music can be beneficial in helping students focus and stay on task, though the results may also depend on the type of music the student is listening to. Lofi, classical, or otherwise instrumental-based music is often found to be effective in creating a nice vibe for working. On the other hand, there is also something to be said for boredom and the impact a less stimulating environment can have on creativity.
