2. "For Everyone" written by Jason Reynolds in 2018 is a poem about how everyone goes through the same struggles in life. 2. "A Brief History of Education" was written by Peter Gray in 2008. The article talks about the history of schooling and education in the Unites States. The chapter talks about the history of pop culture, and all of the different theories that exist surrounding the idea of pop culture.  The chapter also argues that pop culture has altered the way people think about social values, morals, and lifestyles. 

2. In the TedTalk "Pop Culture is Dead" that came out in 2015, Phil Miller talks about how pop culture is formed, what pop culture looks like today, and how pop culture is influenced. Chapters one and two from Danesi's book "Pop Culture: Introductory Perspectives" show how schooling and pop culture help form a person's identity. "A Brief History of Education"  by Peter Gray also shows how schooling shapes and forms identity, even outside of the classroom.
