I learned that those using things that are copy righted have to fall within the four factor test. Educators mainly claim they are protected under the fair use claim and are using it with a purpose.
2. There are many things that are not covered for educators that are used every day. Like Brainpop videos on youtube or sharing TPT content. Those are from subscriptions or licensed to one person, not to share with others.

I learned that copyrights actually do expire.

I learned that in certain situations, it is allowed to use some portions of copyrighted work, which impacted educators.

That you need permission to show a movie in a classroom. Especially if you don’t want to get sued by Disney.
