Each of the small children has a lantern that they made. One boy, however, bought his lantern at the store, threw it away because it had no specialty to it because he had bought it. Then a boy asks if anyone wants a grasshopper. A girl comes up to the boy and says that she would like it. But the girl finds out that it's a bell cricket and not a grasshopper. Then everyone cheers and gasps at the bell cricket. The reason for this is because bell crickets are sacred to the Japanese so it is quite nice for them to find a bell cricket. "Oh! it's not a grasshopper. It's a bell cricket.
