A mother gives her handicapped son a cute little dog who lost one of his legs. At first the behavior of the boy towards the dog was very bad and he did not appreciate it but soon he started to like it and then he and dog got along so well. This was very heartwarming and I loved it.

it was very nice story and i loved it very much the dog was very cute and his presence in the home cause the happiness of the boy. before receiving an present from his mother he was just addict in games and he was handicapped . thus he believed that he has no space in his society

Initially the characters were a boy who was handicapped and his mother and a dog.

I found the short film interesting because it motivated the boy who was disturbed because of his disability but later he got a dog as his friend who was too disabled which made him understand that being disabled doesn't mean that we lost everything in our life.

The short film "THE PRESENT" shows how a small gift can change a persons attitude and interest. Before receiving the puppy he was annoyed and unhappy .The boy was physically challenged , maybe because of which he could not play like other children .Sometimes all you need in these situations is a companion . This genre of film is an example of how smallest of small things can make a big impact in others life .Also being physically challenged is not a disability. "The Present" ,short film directed by Jacob Frey is very useful to the current generation. The short film contains 2 main characters ,A boy who is specially abled and a puppy who has only 3 legs .This short film could influence people in a good way.

This short film is about a boy who got a puppy as his present. At first it made no sense. The mother just plopped a box on the table and when the boy opened the box, he found a puppy inside. But the interesting thing about the puppy was that, it had only three legs. I wondered why. The boy seemed to be a video game addict. Sat on the living room couch all day, playing video games in the dark. When the boy first let the puppy out, he even ignored it, kicked it. But as he saw how the puppy acted, he was intrigued. By the end of the short film, we saw that the boy was an amputee, meaning, he had only one leg and had to walk with crutches. He finally went outside along with the puppy and they started playing. I think that the mother had gifted him a puppy with a similar condition to him, so that he could resonate with it. The puppy was having fun, irrespective of the fact that it only had three legs. The parallels drawn between the puppy and the boy made the story much more interesting and gave a beautiful meaning to the story. I enjoyed it very much.

This short film is a wonderful example of having a great companion. This story starts with a mother bringing a adorable puppy to her house. There her son who was busy playing the games was astonished at first seeing a puppy though it has 3 legs then he started to continue playing his game. Meanwhile the puppy was having time of his life like goofing around the house then the boy started to observe him then we found out that the boy was having 1 leg. This shows that he doesnt have a companion in who can share things with him that why he was playing the game. But when he saw a puppy just like him he found out that he can be a good companion. Then the short film ends with the boy waving bye to her mum to play with the dog. I like this movie and its shows a deep meaning of having a great companion
