I always thought we’d be by each others side forever

Now the time has come 

And I’d be satisfied if we worked together 

Yea, our congress is effed 

We might as well enjoy the “weather”

Our time is up and I’d be satisfied if we served together

All this talk of insurrection got me taciturn 

Let’s just take our weapons out in the freezing rain, and let the frost burn.

And when the war was out of orbit, I was with you all, and now if the favor you can please return 

And on the bright side, if the Congress implodes before our April break, then we won’t have to do our tax returns 

Here’s the way I see it, if we’re gonna serve let’s do it on mutual terms

We can linger on enemy turf, and watch the redcoats burn

I'll go get my ingenuity, and you could bring your loyalty

Maybe we'll figure this out before your accounts get liquidated 

or you can turn your weapons and direct them towards the Congress 

Set it ablaze like we would to Britain’s grand royalty

and watch the people we defended turn and run away

Not the summer soldiers but the kind that helped and stayed

and all their people peers, and if we solve this we could have a country in a day

Freedom pioneers

And help each other’s family living under the atmosphere

The worst part is that is something that we can always stop

Like we lived through every benchmark

I remember me and you read every update about Congress on our desk-top

So if we can’t save our country for us, maybe we could do it for our future generations instead of ending in a headlock

Maybe in an era when we’re settled into bedrock

The later civ would dig us and we’d make headlines,heck,we might even make a ted talk

And we could write a note like “don’t mess up our freedom please look at how much it cost humanity” and maybe they would read it, or maybe they would ignore our warning and use up all their carbon molecules from fossil fuels

Maybe it’s impossible to change the future, but we change the present 

Be cooperating militiamen and then decay 

And we would stand together as we’re infected by the fame or ego scares get smoldered by the artists, or iced out with our silver chains

I promise

You and I could be confined inside a space

The size of a minute raisin in quiet and icy statis

And when the redcoats slay our cryogenic hideaway

We could try to lie awaken and dream about the future days 

After the roads and paths were frozen, ashen plains
And the colonies turned to itty bitty rows of crashing manes

Cracking pavement through the sad arrangements broken after-stains

Of blood and decimation, separating bones and mass from brains

When the days of olden past decay and exit through the years

We can lay in the fields of shining grass and say “Now we’re here!”

If so many left this planet, without any second chances 

Why did we awake next morning to a separate time of cheer

But the queries tend to drift and fade as time  can slip away

And hearing me, the insurrection demotes itself to off-your-brain

Awareness of the vileness of insurrection like a photograph in picture frames

Glad to know we come to an agreement among the flickering flames

Maybe even congress can take a couple minutes off

And we can live forever while the future is eclipsed in fog 

It might boast disaster, friends, but we we can sing a different song

And use the House of Representatives to come to an agreement  

Make a deal we can all agree to that will not harm our country

It doesn’t have to be complex, cause we know it doesn’t matter

Through the battered, beaten, broken Congress and house of representatives 

I’m sure that we’d survive long enough to see the planet Saturn

Solving this disagreement will be heard from USA to mars

Playing historians to try and say it was aliens in their cars

Like, ‘’maybe it’s not all bad, this point of view’s bizarre’’

Watching our comrades enjoy the newfound freedom and see the shine in their stars

I never thought i’d say this, but frankly it’s been peaceful 

To escape from that distasteful state of hate, deceit, and evil 

Sure, a nation to ourselves is quite a journey for all of us 

But the only time i’m happy for’s the time I get to see you all

I know that but being around… in that atmosphere and seeing how

people submit, you know, seeing how, how they obey, you

know, what kind of country they makin’... I’m just like… I don’t want

The purpose of the Federalist Papers was to defend the U.S Constitution and Hamilton did just that with this particular essay over the topic of the country's militia. Hamilton starts off this essay by stating that in order to have an organized and prepared militia whenever it's called into service for defense, the federal government would have to have authority over organizing, arming, and disciplining the militia. Hamilton then goes on to discuss that if the militia is going to be a defense that our country can rely on, there is no way the state governments could handle such a huge responsibility and it would be best to leave that in the hands of the federal government. The reason Hamilton starts off with this argument is due to the fact that the U.S Constitution faced criticisms over having too much power, including the regulation of the militia, and Hamilton writes what the state governments have power over to appease these critics, one of which is that the state governments have the power to appoint officers for the militia. When describing this, Hamilton exaggerates over what a big deal it is for the state governments to have "SOLE AND EXCLUSIVE APPOINTMENT OF THE OFFICERS". Another criticism made against the militia is that having an army is a danger to liberty. Hamilton addresses this by saying that not having an army at all would mean there would not even be a country left standing. A major criticism that was made against the U.S Constitution itself was that the deployment of the militia was under the regulation of the federal government. People were worried that the federal government could use the militia against its citizens as a form of tyranny. Hamilton argues against this claim by arguing that the members of the militia, which would be composed of citizens, would never lose their moral character and allow themselves to be instruments of tyranny against their own fellow citizens. Hamilton wrote this essay to the people of New York, explaining and defending the regulation of the militia that would serve the country. He came up with many counter-arguments and the tone throughout this essay was primarily combative and argumentative towards the unreasonableness of the claims made against the U.S Constitution and the federal government. What ultimately made Hamilton successful in getting his point across ,however, was the appeal to the audience's common sense that was used in his counter-arguments.

            Rhetorical Strategies
Some rhetorical strategies that Alexander Hamilton used in order to address that disunity between the nation would cause an "enumeration of dangers" is the appeal to pathos and logos. He went on by explaining that it was people's desire for power and preeminence, or sometimes the want for equality and safety, that led to tensions between them. These strategies were used to appeal to the reader's emotions and logic that it, in fact, was the people's own fault for disunity, and that nothing could be done until nations cultivated and tried to enforce the same benevolent and philosophic spirit between the people.
