Without the pictures you would not be able to see how all of the characters truly felt. I didn’t understand why people of the same religion were fighting over what religious symbols they wore. Growing up in the United States we have had the freedom of religion, so when Marji got expelled for not wearing the veil and behaving inappropriately it surprised me.
