This source is written by a few different authors who are not biased toward either India or Pakistan. This source did not use bias through selection or any bias at all because instead of giving opinions or different perspectives of the story it is giving live updates of the events occurring through an outside view. Since there are multiple authors it gives many different perspectives. This article does not over-exaggerate things by using more or less impactful words and the message is simply just to understand current or ongoing events. No information that I know is being left out or ignored because both sides are being covered. This article builds on what I already know because it gives recent updates and more detail and information about what's happening in India and Pakistan.

The central argument is that these events continue into today by giving more information about them talking mostly about the recent updates but it brings up many different points from different perspectives so there is not just one central point. It does however have the point that conflict and terrorism between India and Pakistan are not over.

The author of this source is named Dr. Cheitigj Bajpaee and he is biased toward India. This source uses bias through selection by saying things like “ it extended an olive branch to Pakistan” trying to make Pakistan seem like they chose to attack India for no reason. This article also uses bias in word choice because he says things like “India carried out so-called ‘surgical strikes’” making the situation seem less threatening. And things like “And despite its more assertive posturing” using the words assertive posturing instead of something more brutal or worse. The author of this source is named Dr. Cheitigj Bajpaee and he is biased toward India. He uses loaded words like so-called impact the message by lowering the impact or importance of an event.

The audience is people who don’t know much about the attack or how India responded because the article skims over that making it seem like it wasn’t a very big deal but in reality, it has more devastating effects on Pakistan whether it was justified or not. The main focus is what Pakistan did and how India didn’t deserve it and how yes what they did might have been bad but not as bad and justified.

It is important to consider different perspectives when you are researching because articles can either leave important information out or focus on various events and actions. To understand and critically read through biased information, you need to find multiple sources and determine what information is missing or altered. Between my three articles, I learned about two different events within one larger event which was India's terrorist attack on Pakistan. I learned about the actions taken by Pakistan to cause India to attack back and how India decided to respond. The two biased articles focused on the part that made the country look better. If you do not consider multiple perspectives you might not get the full story and form an opinion based on one side.

Loaded words like unprovoked imply that Pakistan had no or little involvement in the events. This article uses many loaded words throughout the article some cases in headlines which is also categorized as bias through headline. Some of these biased headlines include "Why did India launch the attack?" Which only focuses on the attack that India launched.
