<title>DO NOW Padlet: Making Distinctions Within Your Research by Dario Sulzman</title>
      <link>https://padlet.com/newhavenpublicschools/745jw5d79szf99v0</link>
<description>Part of research is that you focus on a single subject. So, on one level, all of the sources you look for are about the same thing, or at least have the same subject in common. But creating a sense of progression or development of ideas requires making *distinctions* within your research subject--the ideas/questions you have about it, but also how your sources explore it. For this DO NOW, what do you think are some important distinctions within your research project (either within your sources or your own thinking about it) that could help you develop your ideas in the Annotated Bibliography? If you&#39;re not sure, what are some *general* methods for making distinctions when writing about a subject?</description>
