First, it was a houseboat but later was converted in a restaurant , with a lighthouse , beach and palm trees . you can enjoy  with the views of Alcatraz and the Golden Gate Bridge  o r eat down to sea level in the main hall and with all nautical artifacts you can see the fish swimming . the waiters are dressed in sailors and serve French cuisine and Seafood

I really recommend it to enjoy a meal in a unique place , but not only me...they have reviews and recognition like Wall Street Journal: "...the effect is pure fantasy (or perhaps Fantastic Island) "  , or Lifestyles of  the rich & famous magazine : "  We've  visited many personal paradises around the world but none like the amazing Forbes Island "
