District 12 finally has two radiant examples that will surely help us successfully win the Hunger Games, a feat we have not achieved in years. Katniss looks to me as a promising prospect, and I have placed my hopes in both Katniss and Preeta. All around me, I am consistently surrounded with failures. To think that this year I will have finally found the shining examples of tribute from my own district! I am also pleasantly pleased with the manners Katniss and Preeta presented at dinner before the Gamemakers. Such a dazzling difference from tributes in the past! Still, I have this gnawing feeling that the games themselves are serving a purpose not quite as they were intended. My gut instinct is scratching at my insides, and my heart truly tells me there is more behind the games than our government is letting on.
