One time in art class I had an assignment to create a stained glass painting of an animal. I chose to do a red panda. As I worked on my painting I noticed how most of the colors didn't match and the painting looked a little splotchy. But I realized the imperfection made it better, in my opinion. It gave the painting character.

How does this relate to the theme?

This relates to the theme because it shows that even though parts of the painting were not perfect, the ending result still looked good, and maybe even better.

In 7th grade, I signed up for volleyball. We practiced every week and eventually went to a district festival. Personally I was not that great at the sport. But through good teamwork, our team faced won 1st place.

How does this relate to the theme?

This relates to the theme because neither my team nor I were perfect at volleyball. But with decent skills, a good attitude and working together, we succeeded.

For my Algebra 1 final last year, I conducted the "perfect" study plan. I studied really hard for 2 weeks straight, and I ended up not getting my desired score. For my Algebra 2 exam I decided to not stress myself out as much. I studied lightly for a week and slept well every night. For that exam, I got 100%.

How does this relate to the theme?

This relates to the theme because for my second final, I didn't have the "perfect" study plan but I ended up doing better than when I thought I did.
