I learned the online learning had both positive and negative effects. Some kids loved it and it was super easy. They realized that they learned better online. Some kids didn’t love online learning and they realized they learned better in person.

A important peice I learned was that only 41% of principles provided “Crome books” to use in the class and at home. I found that interesting because all I’ve known is being able to have a computer and take it home!

I learned that many people disliked online schooling and wanted more in person. The articles explained that students think it’s essential to be able to control where and how they learn, and this further explained how 61% of students miss the social aspect.

I thought it was interesting that online learning and communication helped students to advocate for themselves. Because we gave them the tool of technology, we are giving them an easier way to ask questions and talk to their instructors.

I learned a lot about students preferences with technology and how it affected many students before and after covid. 62% of teachers are using more online curriculum with their students in 2018. Technology has adapted over the years and has made learning more efficient.

I found the statistics of how much more teachers became advanced in technology after covid really interesting. I also learned how principals felt during and post lockdown and what they viewed how students did during online learning. I really agree with how we need to learn and grow from the one size fits all mentality and how students should be your first source for culture and their needs.

I learned that the pandemic obviously did impact education, but not in the way I thought. Students attitudes about school stayed relatively the same before and after the pandemic. Students want to do good in school, but find it hard to be engaged in schools curriculum and educational content.

i learned that there was a significant difference between engagement in school in white and colored students. studies showed that majority white students felt cared for in school while colored students did not.
