Hey! It’s Finn and I am here to ask you a very important favour. You see, I need a website so crazy, so colourful and so amazing to give to princess bubble-gum, and to impress her. I was hoping for you to be able to make this website for me, and what you get? A surprise... just wait and see. I feel like I need to give something back, and I feel good doing it. It will be mostly princess bubble-gum themed, and could have tabs with a photo gallery, mini games, an about me, and a shop for merchandise. The audience would be for anyone who is a fan of bubble-gum, and could get to know her better through the website. It sounds all happy and exciting, but there is a problem! I must have this done very soon (insert due date here) as I will miss my only opportunity of meeting her again and also because she is just too damn busy. With that out of the way don’t lose faith, you can make this work! I will be supporting you whenever you need it.

In the website, there is a banner on the top showing what the candy kingdom looks like. It’s there so that people can see what Bubble-gum’s kingdom looks like. So, a good idea of what Princess Bubble gum has to offer. There’s a font which is called the ‘rebecca-font’ and it creates the fairy-tale feel of cartoon. If it were just plain text, it wouldn’t match as well, making the website look bad. Getting inspiration from the ‘Cartoon Network’ website, it features the cartoons on a slide show which could be implemented with having news, merchandise or polls for example. It allows so that the user can get first impressions of the website and make it look more professional. The Logo at the top left is in very good placement which people can easily recognise and leave remembering it in their head. Since this is a fan made website, there could possibly be some kind of logo for it. A prize option on the website could reward the viewers in visiting the website. This would help with the websites promotion. The whole design is more focused at promoting Princess Bubble-gum, while offering things to the customers. Fan club for people who love princess bubble-gum will get more people and exposure. 

All of these elements are used which create the whole websites structure. It will be a pink colour, while having a candy like font. The website features a navigation bar having a slideshow and the signature logo will be easily noticeable on the top left. There will be prizes, and a fan club. Other things on the navigation bar will include: videos, gallery, about, prizes and games. It is made to a community which can enjoy a fun exciting website princess bubble-gum themed.  

I have created a website which is resolved around the theme being adventure time, and based of the character, Princess Bubble-gum. This is a similar approach to the previous website but is a specific theme instead of being all rounded. It’s much different in colours as this is fully pink and the other has a wallpaper which is many different colours. This website features a slideshow which the other website doesn’t. This website is not finished, so it doesn’t offer all the features mentioned before. The overall look and layout is much nicer than the previous website as all sides are proportionate and it is not overdone. It’s much simpler making it easier to navigate. The main thing which differs it from the previous one is a fan club page which allows you to sign up and become a member. I was moderately efficient as it started as a template which looked extremely simple but the code being very complex. There were many errors which were present but didn’t affect the look of the website, only the coding. There was a problem where all the content was coded so that when you changed one thing it would change all of it. Despite all the problems, it wasn’t that difficult to add new codes changing the whole website matching the pink theme. To make the website even better, more details could be added making it much more interesting to look at and give it more originality. Social media buttons could actually have links which would lead them to the social media accounts of the website. There are only little improvements as the website is going for a simple look but improvements are still needed. Lessons learned are the coding as the problems faced affected workflow substantially. By having an unorganised code, it was hard to find colours, adding codes seemed easy, but it lead to many other problems such as an over clutter of code.
