I specially like this photo, from the The Guardian link, because it's so very striking in its simplicity. I like the contrast it makes, how such a minute and delicate animal is apparently at ease with a piece of this rubbish we're choking the oceans with. How such a seemingly innocent piece of personal hygiene ended up next to this beautiful and graceful animal. It seems to me like a very clear scream.

Two children conforting each other...Their faces reflect the fear that thousand of children are living in this unjust place called world, right now. They have already lost some members of their family and their home under the rubble, during a fighting between Iraqui forces and Islamic State in Mosul on June 24.

I´ve chosen this photo for the headline. It´s incredible to think that even in the 21st century there are underdeveloped countries like Africa while other countries enjoy unnecessary luxuries.
In this picture we can see a group of women attending a class to learn how to use tablets and in this way to be able to teach their children about the new technologies.
As we can see, most women feel happy with this activity. We can also observe in other expressions the difficulty that it implies for them.
While in Europe children already know how to use these devices, there is still a long way to go in the development of some countries.
On the other hand, we know they are wonderful craftswomen in manufacture of their colorful and striking dresses and ornaments.

Sofía Martín :)

I have been watching a lot of photos in the Time's web and most of them showed terrible photos as peopleb being driven over, or houses bombed and bodys killed. I am that kind of person who tolerate very bad violence so, even if they are named 'best top 100 photos of 2017' I can't put up with it. So I like this Time's photo because you can see in it a lot of different people in races, economy or even religions, gathered without any troubles or bad actions, just to observe how a solar eclipse was going to happen. And just showing how differences don't exist, only when we want to them show up.

Teresa Herrador

I especially like this photo, from Time link, because it is very funny. Lastly, we are used to seeing tragedies in social media, most of them are wars, damages, murders and something like this. In this scene we can see a group of goats, they are eating leaves on the top of an argan tree in Essaduira, Morocco. This photo is like a Christmas Tree but, we have got goats inside crystal balls, for this reason, it is really funny and happy, in contrast to the rest of the photos, this picture make me laught and only for this reason it is noteworthy.

This picture shows Women’s March on Washington, I´ve chosen it because I consider very important that women fight for their rights. In addition, something more important is the equality between men and women, and with this things where women fight together is more easier achieve the goals. Besides, I love this picture because there is a current point due to womans in Holliwood. Some productors use their works for abuse, and womans inform againsd them and people are little by little more conscious. It is something bad that it would be better if doesnt happen, but for this kind of things people think about it and maybe changes their actitudd about the inequality and one day men and women fight together.

Noemi Mateos
