         <description><![CDATA[<p>3 things that I have learnt about the laws of the game</p><ol><li><p>It was interesting to learn that there is a temporary dismissal period(sinbin) for youth, veterans, disability and grassroots football. The duration of the dismissal is between 10–15% of the</p><p>total playing time and is signaled by the referee with a yellow card and a clear point with both hands to the temporary dismissal area.</p></li><li><p>If a dropped ball enters the goal without touching at least two players, play is restarted with either a goal kick if it enters the opponents’ goal or a corner kick if it enters the team’s goal.</p></li><li><p>There is no offside offence if a player receives the ball directly from a goal kick, a throw-in or a corner kick.</p></li></ol><p><br/></p><p>2 things that I will apply during the game based on principles of play</p><ol><li><p>Play with more width: After watching some of the videos I realized we don't use alot of the width available to us. Hence we should make use of this width to stretch the defense and create create space for the midfield.</p></li><li><p>When defending I will maintain balance in the team, by positioning myself to be able to apply quick pressure if the ball is switched to the other side of the field.</p></li></ol><p><br/></p><p>1 or any question I would like to clarify or know more about.</p><ol><li><p>How involved should attacking players be when defending?</p></li></ol>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>3 Things I Learnt About the Laws of the Game:</p><ol><li><p>There is no offside offence if a player receives the ball directly from a goal kick. For goal kicks, there is an added threat if the goalkeeper is able to send the ball deep into the opposition half for the striker to run onto the ball. </p></li><li><p>Football pitches do not have a standard size, rather there is a range of legal dimensions that it can take.</p></li><li><p>Goalkeepers have the option of wearing tracksuit bottoms.</p></li></ol><p><br/></p><p>2 Things I Will Apply During Game Based on Principles of Play:</p><ol><li><p>Support. I should position myself to offer a diagonal passing option for my teammate on the ball rather than vertical and horizontal passes. Vertical passes can easily be cut out by the defender (since I am in his shadow), while horizontal passes, if intercepted, would mean that the opponent would have already beaten two players just with that one interception.</p></li><li><p>Cover. As my teammate pressures the opponent, I should drop deeper to serve as a backup if my teammate is beaten. All other period, the ball is in play even if it hits a referee.</p><p>The dimension of the field is not fixed but varies within a range</p><p>A player is considered on the offside if he is closer to the opponent's goal (in the opponent's half of the field), the ball and the second last defender.
