The festival takes place over six days and nights from 27 December to 1 January each year
The Woodford Folk Festival developed from the Maleny Folk Festival which began in Maleny in 1987.
The Woodford Folk Festival takes place on rural property known as Woodfordia, north of the Sunshine Coast town of Woodford.
Will feature rich and powerful voices, exquisite musicians, splendiferous circus, ludicrous comedy, cabaret shows of outrage and intrigue, passionate speakers, inspiring workshops and meaningful ceremonies.

Specially there are sometime both wife and husband join together. 
Local people also perform local music instrument call " Khen"
Nowadays, It is become to commercialize and people start selling normal products.
