At the time of the ancient civilizations China used mostly timber to build their shelter and houses. The kind of house and furniture depends on the place they live and the area they live in. So if they live in a place which is more yellow (which is the northern part of China) your house color and furniture color is based on the area.

They ate vegetables such as soy bean, mung beans (these beans are mostly from Asia), Chinese radish, dried mushrooms, etc. They ate fruit like oranges and melon. Their religion mostly drank tea sweet or not, or water. These are just some of the food they ate.

The peasants wore hemp, a rough material made from plant fibers. The wealthy people wear silk clothing, made from cocoons of silkworms. Different colors mean different emotions for example, red means happiness.

The "Big men" is what the peasants in Ancient China called the Government which were dynasties. Sometimes the dynasties were allies and between each dynasty was an unstable age of divided provinces. They also had three different kingdoms called Wei, Wu, & Shu.
Chinese dynasty's were not to happy with their northern neighbors. They built a wall around everything "literally." And i mean everything because the built one to keep the evil spirit out and if you were out of that wall past a certain time you will be killed by the government.

Economy is resources, trading, & transportation. The silk road was known for the silk that was traded on the road. They also traded felt, woolens, & cotton on the road. For transportation they used wheelbarrows, ox cars, etc. there is a pic of an ox car at the bottom. Ancient china has a very different money system then we do now. They used mostly coins but copper was the most popular. later on they created gold and iron ingots but some copper was shaped into squares for money to.

If Ancient China did not create money we would not have the money we have now and same thing with cars because if they did not make the ox cars back then we would not have the Lamborghini's we have now. And some food names they used back then made the names of them now so its just cool to think that things we have now came from the ancient years.

Not all of the children were able to get to go to school, only the rich family's with children got to get education. In their religion if a child of a father disobeys the father can legally kill the child. The Chinese valued their sons more than their daughters. The Chinese religion gets married at a young age and do not know who they will get married to until their wedding day. Even if you really don't like someone it does not matter at that time because no one can change it.
