12-18: Scott was pronounced dead due to scalding from submersion in a thermal hot spring. Water was 212 degree Fahrenheit, with an acidic pH level of 5. Clothing and wallet did not dissolve, but the entirety of the body dissolved. A upper torso was reported to be seen in the water after the accident on numerous accounts.

37-45: 6/7/16, sister of Scott called ranger, reporting that Scott had fallen in the geyser. Managed to record the accident, and gave written and verbal consent for use of the video to authorities. 37-45 ANELISE - sable had a video leading up to the incident but didnt look at it, just gave a copy to authorities. On June 7th remains flood to surface, with a grey shirt similar to one wearing in video. recovery efforts ceased due to the lack of physical remains.

When the rangers first came to the scene they found a body that the sever thermal burns and the water was muddy and gray. Only flip flops, sandals,glasses, and a wallet where left at the scene.

On the first day they stopped looking because of weather conditions, but when they came back they were unable to find any remains and said it was because the rest dissolved overnight

Colin and Sable Scott were illegally exploring acidic hot springs in Yellowstone, Sable was recording videos of them on her iPhone when she caught Colin slipping and falling in the Norris geyser basin hot spring on video. Sable also got on video her attempting to rescue her brother and pull him out of the hot spring but failed to help him out due to the temperature of the spring, she then runs to the rangers and tells them what happened.

Sable Scott a statement saying she had a video of the moments just prior to Cohn Scott's disappearance This statement was not made to be and I was informed about it later. Also One of the hasty teams found the thermal feature in question and was unable to see any remains present in the body of water.
