- Everyday, humans are being affected by air pollution, children grow up breathing the air we continue to pollute little by little.
- Because of this, social work is well connected to helping children who are affected by this and it is important to support the EPA (Environmental Protection Agency) to better the air we breathe. 
- Research shows that there are 4,445 respiratory cases within only children because of the air in the environment. 
- This work is important to me as a future social worker because I think that air pollution has a big impact on not only physical but mental health as well and goes into children's performance on a daily basis.
- If we do this work, it will promote better health within children in areas such as in our Los Angeles community and will prevent and drop the possibilities of future health issues.
