After the war, he faced criticism from Switzerland for overstepping his diplomatic authority, and his career advancement became blocked. He eventually remarried Maria Magdalena Grausz, and though his reputation was restored, he remained relatively unknown.</p>]]></description>

He also extended diplomatic protection to 76 buildings, including the “Glass House,” which sheltered thousands. By using his authority and risking his life, Lutz helped save thousands of jews from deportation and execution.</p>]]></description>
