I chose this video because I often find myself getting bored when studying a lot of information. I wanted to find a way to make it more enjoyable so that I can study more, and he suggests many interesting ways to make studying more fun. I really liked his suggestion to use music and the growth mindset. I love listening to music when I study because it calms me down and helps me focus. I liked the growth mindset because it forces us to think of our growth instead of staying at the same level we are already at, which allows us to improve by challenging ourselves. I also like studying with a friend by doing trivia on the subject, it is fun, simple and effective for studying. He also points out that in some cases studying with a partner can be troublesome on some occasions. overall he does a great job giving us good ways to make studying interesting and I enjoyed the video.

I like the tips that he gives us because they are well researched and he tells us how to use them. I specifically like the loci method that makes use of you surrounding to study, I also like the example he gives for this study technique. He also tells use when it is convenient to use loci: when you have to study a lot of data. I also like the idea of a small reward system after finishing small goals, I also like to do that. For example after I finish this part of my homework I'm going to be a part of a dungeons and dragons campaign. I like to use this method because it helps me study longer without burning myself out by doing everything all at once. I like the tips he gives, some of them are a bit complicated, but they are all very useful.

I chose this video because I often find myself lacking the motivation to do things, especially school work. I like the ideas he gives us in order to help us build motivation, they were fresh ideas that don't always occur to us when studying, for example one of his suggestions is to go out for a walk. I like the idea of getting away from the assignment and taking a breath o fresh air, and when I did this it made things a bit easier after I cleared my mind by going outside and I was able to finish my homework without a hitch. I find it easy to understand how focusing on a single task can help when studying, because then I can give that task my all, most of the time I do multiple pieces of homework at a time and do a little bit of one and a little bit of another until I finish, but by focusing on one I am able to make a better piece of work. I also think that focusing on one task meant to eliminate any distractions that make it hard to focus so that we can give more attention to our current task. With eliminating distractions we can also clear to neutral by clearing off our workspace of any clutter giving us more space to do our work in order to work effectively. I find this tip especially good because without a clear desk I can't do my work and I won't do anything until I clean my desk.
