Retal Khan and Salma Hejab

The Hadith:

The Messenger of Allah (PBUH) said, “When Allah intends good for His slave, He punishes him in this world, but when He intends an evil for His slave, He does not hasten to take him to task but calls him to account on the Day of Resurrection.” [ At-Timidhi].

This Hadith has an impact on my personal development and understanding as Allah explains that the Muslim who intend goods will get difficulties in this life but will get rewarded to paradise. But the person who believes another and expects goods will enter Hell. This helps me focus on my religion to get to paradise. Which makes me closer to my dean trying to be religious and be a better Muslim. This Hadith guides my thoughts, actions, and beliefs as it relates to muslims. It also helps me to believe that in this Dunya our difficulties will increase but in paradise our blessings and our wishes will come true.

Lara,Shahleen,Yara

The greatest of richness is the richness of the soul.

-Prophet Mohammed (peace be upon him)

This saying means that a good soul is way more valuable than anything else.

It has a deep meaning to which is like, ‘the richness of the soul’ is like the knowledge of the emotional state. To be rich in the soul, is to be open minded and to understand other people by thinking of their perspective.

This impacts me by making good friends with good souls because it is way more valuable than other riches. This guides people to care only for who a person is In the inside and it’s their good soul which matters.
