Do you believe that automation increases/decreases the economic pie?
Automation will increase production exponentially, the value of products that the world produces will rise greatly, this translates to a massive increase in the economic pie. While individuals will get less percentiles of the pie, these slices will be more rich.

Trying to teach machines like humans may be inefficient, but claiming that is how automation has been done is fallacy. Robotics for automated assembly lines have limbs and methods no human could emulate, when making a robot for automation, the designer has the goal of simply getting the bot to do the task.

No, we have only created one as economics and wealth in the form of money has become so depended on. Unless we embrace full communism (which does not work) there WILL be poverty, some people are uncompetitive in the workplace, and providing incentive to the populous is worth it as the expense of some poverty. There are so many issues will the way economics works, but most of it has one source: greed. The sheer amount of wealth available is so high massive greed has struck the economy.
