I wonder why people concern themselves so much with what other people do

I hear the hummingbirds and the bumble bees and the sunflowers and the apple trees

I see plaid skies

I want to fly up there some day like a supersonic jet

I pretend to listen to people when, in some cases, I am really not

I feel excited about what’s to come in life

I touch beams of light

I worry about my ninety-three year old great grandmother still driving a car

I cry when people make me laugh so hard
