China began to trade with Europe and Central Asia by some routes called Silk Roads.  An advanced culture in China was created thanks to the goods and ideas traded. </em></div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>The Qin Dynasty established the first empire in China, starting with efforts in 230 B.C., during which the Qin leaders engulfed six Zhou Dynasty states. The empire existed only briefly from 221 to 206 B.C., but the Qin Dynasty had a lasting cultural impact on the dynasties that followed.<br>The Qin region was located in modern-day Shaanxi province, north of the Zhou Dynasty territory - Qin served as a barrier between it and the less civilized states above it. The capital of the Qin Dynasty was Xianyang, which was extensively enlarged after Qin dominance was established.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div><em>-Shang Dynasty oracle bone used to pose questions to the gods.</em></div><div><em>-The last king of the Shang dynasty used ivory chopsticks.</em></div><div><em>-The founding king (king of Qin) was named Zheng. However, he changed his name to Qin Shi Huang, which translated would be "First Emperor." A name that was ethically prohibited, and had been reserved.</em></div><div><em>-The traditional garb is called Han dress, the writing system is known as Han characters, and the Chinese language itself is also called Han-yu, the Han language.</em></div>]]></description>
