This term we are engaging our curiosities closer to home with exploration of water and taking care of the local environment. This term we will be experiencing transport on a local canal boat to observe and explore man-made waterways. We are also heading to a local beach to take part in the Sefton Beach Clean-up, where we'll be using child-friendly litter pickers to remove some of the rubbish along the coastal path.

What a hot week it has been! We began our week with a trip to the beach for our end of year visit. Some of us also took a trip to main site to begin our transitions. We have enjoyed reading and sorting shapes whilst trying to keep cool.

This week we have continued to keep cool with lots of water play. We had lots of boats trapped in ice and we tried to rescue them in outdoor learning. We then made our own boats and sailed them!

Another busy week in purple class! This week we have enjoyed making fish using our fingerprints and manipulating playdoh. We also enjoyed our moving up celebration. Thank you so much for coming everyone. We loved having you all there!

How did we get to the last week! To finish our fun filled year we went on a visit to main site to explore the sensory playground. Back at the cottage we had lots of fun at the foam party and finished of the week with an ice cream treat. Hope you all have a lovely summer everyone! We have had such a fun year in purple class.
