In the past Krakow was the capital of Poland and his Historic centre was declared as a World Heritage Site by Unesco in 1978. The old city of Krakow has a very rich architecture, with beautiful examples of Reinaissance, Baroque and Gothic architecture

Wawel Castle
It was built at the behest of Casimir 3 the Great. Its architecture comprises Romanesque fragments and important Gothic elements. Here you can find the Crown Treasury and Crown Jewels, exposes objects of incalculable value

Basilica of Santa Maria
It's an outstanding church in Gothic style with lot of stained glass, painting and sculptures.
