Globally, apps are things which are commonly used and that is because of the rising of needs on these days. For example, with apps we can order lunch or meals of the best restaurants of the city, we can use them for communicating or for other kind of things that satisfies the needs and wants of the new century consumers. Anyway, is importante to recognize that apps can be cool or can be awful. When I say awful I mean poor design, poor UX/UI or it simply does not fulfill the need. But in the other hand we got very good apps that, even, there are prizes which let qualify the apps and say wich one is the best. For instance, the magazine time has a prize called "the best iphone and android apps". In 2017 the winner was Mobile Passport, an app that facitilate us taking planes and being on time with the schedule. Hence and as shown, apps are not only about of creating them. In summary, apps in these days are something people use day by day, more apps are being created because of the rising of needs but, furthermore, is important that them can be easy to use and accomplish their main objective.

Where to study in UniAndes?

In UniAndes, ML library and the second floor of central cafeteria are the principal places to study. Depending on the student´s preferences one of them would be better than the other. To begin with, there are three main points for compare these two places: level of noise, location and availability of study spots. First, it is important that you determine if the noise affects yourself while studying. ML library is a quiet place, perfect for more concentration and, in contrast, the second floor of the cafeteria is noisier, and you are going to have more distractions than in the ML library. Next, the location could be a relevant aspect depending on where you are. ML is the principal building of the campus and nearer from other buildings, public transport, residencies, restaurants, etc. So that, makes it easier to reach if you are lazy or you have short time for your academic work. On the contrary, second floor of the cafeteria is a place where it is exhausting to go because of the campus` topography, in addition, this building is in the south area of the campus which is not crowded. Finally, it is important to recognize that ML library have a lot of spots to study individually but in exams season it is a populous place. While this happen in ML library, the second floor of the cafeteria in every season has unoccupied spots. In summary, these two places are great to study and each one has its own advantages but finally it depends on your needs and preferences at the time of studying

Reflection

So far, the writing progress has been good. I feel more prepared to write academic paragraphs. As an starting point "first paragraph" is clear the absence of a main idea. I was talking about too much but at the same time about nothing. I just was adding and adding ideas instead of deepen more on an specific one. Then in the contrast paragraph "where to study in UniAndes?" I started to identify more the topic sentence and the aspects to contrast. Finally, in "contrast apps" I guess is the best text I had ever produced in this class and in my whole time learning english. That is because is a brief and clear paragraph in which I develop one idea using in a right way connectors and taking into account important aspects to contrast. Hence, I have noticed my advanced on the development of one idea through a paragraph

Canva and Fotojet are apps used for design; nevertheless, Fotojet is more useful than Canva for marketing purposes. To begin with, the big similarity between Canva and Fotojet is their interface, that is easy to use but there are tools that made each other better for different tasks. For example, Canva is a great app for presentations and keynotes because of the easiness to make them and the capacity to make awesome presentations. In the other hand, Fotojet has a lot of templates that let you work more with images, brochures and flyers. Subsequently, in marketing you need a lot of advertising to make your entrepreneurship or company more known. This advertising can be done through ads in facebook, landing pages or people giving flyers on the streets.  For this reason, Fotojet is more useful to achieve this task because it enables you as a marketer to do this advertising in an easy way. Briefly, both are 2 great apps for design, in one hand, Canva is more popular for presentations, and, in the other, Fotojet has a lot of variety in templates that can be used for web pages, facebook pages and other marketing functions
