In Indonesia 13 out of 20 plastic bottles are recycled. What is the percent of the bottles that is recycled?

How to solve it:
first 13 out 20 is same as 15/20 then we need to convert it to decimal by:

searching the 20 times X = 5
and then we multiply all of the amounts by 5. so 20 X 5 = 100 and 13 X 5 is 65 and there you get it 65/100
but before finishing of we need to turn it into percentage which can easily done because % means /100 so we can have 65/100 as the final answer.
                Thank You

Carol stole 15 chocolate bananas from Lauren while in total has 30% of chocolate bananas how many chocolate bananas does Lauren has in total?

what you want to do is to turn the percentage to a fraction first 30/100 then you guys erase the one of both zeros and then time with the number 5 i use 5 but if you don't it's ok then simplify with five and you will have 3/10 times what =15 so what to do is to make a bar and divide to 10 and shade three bars three bars =15 there is 7 more bars so plus it but there is one more bar so it three bars is 15 that means one bar is 5 so when you plus it it all equals to 50 chocolate bananas so in total Carol has =50
