      <description>For my English Variation investigation, I would like to explore African American English (AAE). This variety of English has a rich history and is an important part of African American culture. My research will focus on its origins, how it is used today, and the way people view it in society. I will also look at its unique grammar, pronunciation, and vocabulary. I chose this topic because AAE is widely spoken but often misunderstood. I want to learn more about how it works and why it is an important part of American English.</description>
