1st-5th: Chromebooks (Acer, Asus, and Samsung are the 3 types and in order of age)
--There is nothing on the desktop and they only can use websites and google drive only
**Must stay at school
**1 to 1 for all students
**Computers are checked out in either the teacher or students names
** Additional computers when accidents happen- 10% extra in the building for that purpose. The teacher librarian takes care of all work orders and issues. 
**Students carry Chromebooks to ESL, TAG, and special education classes 

Teachers in the 2017-18 received Chromebooks (optional)- They don't have the ability to print or have any programs such as word, excel, etc.

Misusing the computer:
**1st time a warning and discussion about district policy and being a good digital citizen
**2nd- Removal of a computer for a set amount of time and make parent contact. They do use it for district assessments
**3rd- Referral and administration decides on removal of computer except for district assessments

Fines, Fees, Charges and Waivers
**The Board believes students should respect District property and assist in its preservation for future use by others. Students may be assessed fines or fees for overdue school materials or for misuse/damage of school property.  Students may be assessed charges or fees for materials needed in a course or for participating in activities.

Email: Only grades 3-5 at the elementary level have email. Some student accounts for K-2 have been created.

People chose whatever interest them. There was a large turn out. I know of 1 or 2 teachers from Wilson that attended.

They also for two years have led boot camps- beginning and advanced to help develop technology skills. People were paid to attend and present. There were 3 people from Wilson that went as well. It ranged from how to use Outlook more efficiently to integration of google froms and much much more.
