Crosby’s spying began with him being miss identify in 1776. He was a shoemaker and was going to a camp in New York for the army. He was quickly mistaken when people thought he was a Britain loyalist. He was later invited to a meeting for loyalist and minuteman.

Lydia Dara was one of George Washington's culper gang spies. She would listen in on the British officers as they met below her. She then would write on tiny pieces of paper and then they were stuffed into cloth buttons and sown onto her sons coat. The buttons with their hidden messages were delivered straight to 711. That's the code for George Washington.

Anna was a patriot and helped them win the war during the American Revolution with her spying and by simply doing her laundry. When she hung a black coat on the line it signaled another spy member of the culper gang that information was ready to be picked up. Also, the number of handkerchiefs would signal exactly where the information was located.
