Also her mom is getting ready for this competition to win money. They train every day with the mom's boyfriend and the Miranda
The letters come a week after Sal gets punched in the street by a kid who apparently has no reason why he punched Sal. The letters come from someone who they do not know. the person in the note is asking for the keys of emergency of Sal house  which as a matter a fact have been stolen the same day because the door was unlocked. After their a second note who arrives that the girl does not really understand the note and that is where her adventure starts. The whole story is a mystery

I loved this a lot because I also love books where people talk to you and make you feel safe. It was also fun to go threw the hard parts and mysterious things the characters have been threw.
