I began learning this skill at an autonomous stage, I was quite familiar with the technique, however, I could've improved it more. I practiced basketball before, and played it for a short period of time, so I was quite familiar, but not an expert.

Through the videos I took throughout the class, I am able to see that my hands aren’t in the right position, and that the follow-through isn’t there for many of my shots. Through the feedback I also can see that my positioning isn’t efficient and therefore my shots weren’t as effective as I intended them to be.

Based on the rubric, I can see that I am doing well, however, I also believe that I need to practice more into shooting and being able to know the "mechanics" of the 3-point shot.

During this whole process, I used mainly "whole-part-whole" practices, which for me mainly were meant to focus on parts of the 3-point shot which I wasn't doing frequently, or wasn't doing them correctly, for example; the follow-through.

For most of my practices I needed to stop just shooting and focus on getting my brain to know how and when to follow-through, in order for the shot to be effective. As whole-part-whole means that you practice first the whole skill, then drag a part down and focus on it, then practice the skill again as a whole, I decided this was the best training technique in order for me to develop and "master" my skill.

For my performance with least impact; this practice didn't improve much as I wasn't focusing also on a particular segment of the skill, I was mainly/only focusing into completing the skill fully rather than spreading it by bits and pieces. Therefore, I wasn't able to improve much of that practice, so it had the least impact for me.

In the video of my performance with least impact you can see the internal feedback is telling me that something is wrong and that I need to focus on different parts of the shot, therefore I move to whole-part-whole practices. Also, the teacher sometimes mentioned it as a better practice than just shooting, therefore I took the external feedback as well from the teacher.

Throughout these 5-6 classes I believe I was able to gather knowledge and understanding of how to successfully complete a 3-point basketball shot. As basketball isn't a sport I practice on a daily basis and also not my number one sport, I decided to give it a go and I think it went well.

Through the videos and the internal feedback during my practices, I can see that I still need improvement when it comes to shooting a 3-pointer, however, from the beginning to the end, I believe I improved my shots in basketball through the training methods I provided myself with and also the ideas from the teacher.

Overall, I believe that there is room for improvement, however, in these 6 classes, I believe I improved my 3-pointers in basketball, which was my overall goal from the start of the unit.
