For ease I see many teachers just stick to one type of technology for a learning or assessment sequence to save time on students forgetting where they completed and/or saved a task. Padlet creates a home where students can store numerous different files on numerous different software all in one place that they can also collaborate with their peers on. This supports students ability to access transformative learning through digital technology as it removes the barrier of ease of use and allows the necessary critical thinking and learning to take place. It also allows for anyone with access to the Padlet to comment feedback and for the Padlet creators to respond to this feedback, which creates and nurtures a frictionless learning community where students can enhance their own learning through interactions with their peers and sharing resources. In my future classrooms I intend to use Padlet to allow ease of group work and for me to host a Padlet for the class with all resources used in my lessons. This allows students to access what we will be doing in the lesson early if they require extra individual time to experience the resources in the most effective way for them, for absent students to catch up on work they missed or for students to reprint resources they have lost or need in a bigger font. I intend to use my Padlet for each class as a digital version of what I teach to enhance the accessibility of my teaching and provide a hub for inquiries that will be organized.
