The scientists inferred that the sound waves were used to harm the wales. They used the theory of evolution to back up nearly all of their claims. In my opinion, it isn't very wise to back up a theory with another theory. It is important to be skeptical because if you aren't, you could be easily fooled. It is important to look at all sides of the situation at look for evidence.
